The fireplace = progress finally

Yep...I finally started the fireplace!  What a fun day!  I have most of the Durrock down and ready to go.  It will be a great base for the concrete I hope to form next week.

Notice the opening on the left side.  This will be storage for wood.  Yes, its a wood burning fireplace.  I would never consider anything else for my home.
